Gain hands-on training in tree climbing, pruning, tree removal, cable and bracing, tree care equipment, planting, tree and shrub identification, and plant health care; the skills and knowledge necessary to be successful in the tree care profession. Students work with small and large trees, and safe work practices are emphasized. These courses prepare you to obtain a Certified Arborist designation through the International Society of Arboriculture.
