Prepare for a career marketing specialty shops, stores and boutiques. This program's fashion marketing courses emphasize the creative aspects of selling apparel, and the retail management courses emphasize the managerial and financial aspects of retailing. Students must complete a one-year qualifying internship, which provides hands-on experience in a fashion or retail organization.
Career Outlook: Trained fashion/retail applicants are continually recruited for supervisory, management, and merchandising positions for many different types of retailers.
Career Pathway: You can earn Fashion Marketing Specialist or Retail Marketing Specialist technical diplomas on your way to completing this associate degree.
